Transfer Staff Between Clinics

Move a staff member from one clinic to another within your organization.

Prerequisites

  • OrganizationAdmin role
  • Both clinics must be in the same organization

Steps

  1. Navigate to Staff Management.
  2. Select the staff member to transfer.
  3. Click “Transfer to Another Clinic.”
  4. Select the destination clinic.
  5. Reassign all assignedTo records in the source clinic to other active staff members (required — transfer is blocked until complete).
  6. Optionally assign roles from the destination clinic’s existing role list.
    • If you skip this, the staff member arrives with no roles (ClinicAdmin must assign later).
  7. Confirm the transfer.
  8. The staff member’s access to the source clinic is removed.
  9. Access to the destination clinic is granted.
  10. Staff availability is reset to empty (must be reconfigured in the new clinic).
  11. An email notification is sent to the staff member.

Important Notes

  • Transfer between different organizations is not allowed.
  • You cannot transfer the last active ClinicAdmin out of a clinic.
  • The OrgAdmin can only assign roles that already exist in the destination clinic — they cannot create new roles.
  • All transfer details are recorded in the audit log.
