Transfer Staff Between Clinics
Move a staff member from one clinic to another within your organization.
Prerequisites
- OrganizationAdmin role
- Both clinics must be in the same organization
Steps
- Navigate to Staff Management.
- Select the staff member to transfer.
- Click “Transfer to Another Clinic.”
- Select the destination clinic.
- Reassign all
assignedTorecords in the source clinic to other active staff members (required — transfer is blocked until complete). - Optionally assign roles from the destination clinic’s existing role list.
- If you skip this, the staff member arrives with no roles (ClinicAdmin must assign later).
- Confirm the transfer.
- The staff member’s access to the source clinic is removed.
- Access to the destination clinic is granted.
- Staff availability is reset to empty (must be reconfigured in the new clinic).
- An email notification is sent to the staff member.
Important Notes
- Transfer between different organizations is not allowed.
- You cannot transfer the last active ClinicAdmin out of a clinic.
- The OrgAdmin can only assign roles that already exist in the destination clinic — they cannot create new roles.
- All transfer details are recorded in the audit log.
