Log a Lead Interaction

Record a communication or meeting with a lead to maintain a complete interaction history for the team.

Prerequisites

  • Staff account with lead edit permission
  • Access to the lead’s profile

Steps

  1. Navigate to the lead profile page.
  2. Click Add Action to open the interaction form.
  3. Select the action type from the dropdown:
    • WhatsApp
    • Email
    • Facebook Message
    • Phone Call
    • In-Person Meeting
    • Other
  4. Enter the content text describing the interaction (e.g., summary of the conversation).
  5. Optionally, change the lead status (e.g., from NEW to CONTACTED) as part of this action.
  6. Click Save to log the interaction.

Notes

  • All actions are displayed in reverse chronological order (newest first) on the lead profile.
  • Each action records: action type, content, timestamp (UTC), and the staff member who added it.
  • Lead actions are preserved permanently — they are never deleted, even after lead conversion to patient.
  • When a lead is converted to a patient, all lead actions remain accessible via the patient’s history (referenced, not copied).
