Add Manual Line Items
Add products or services to a draft invoice that are not part of the session’s catalog recommendations.
Prerequisites
- Staff account with billing edit permission
- The invoice must be in DRAFT status
Steps
- Open the draft invoice from the Billing section.
- Click Add Line Item to open the line item form.
- Enter the required fields:
- Name — description of the item (e.g., “Pharmacy medication”, “Additional consultation”)
- Quantity — number of units (must be greater than 0)
- Unit Price — price per unit
- The total for the line item is auto-calculated as
quantity × unit price. - Click Save to add the line item to the invoice.
Notes
- Use manual line items for products or services not in the clinic’s catalog (e.g., medicines from a pharmacy, ad-hoc services).
- Manual line items can be edited or removed while the invoice is in DRAFT status.
- Manual line items are never auto-removed by the session recommendation sync — only auto-generated items are affected by sync.
- The invoice subtotal, tax, and total are automatically recalculated when line items are added, edited, or removed.
- Once the invoice is FINALIZED, no further edits are possible.
