Add Miscellaneous Charges

Add one-off charges to a draft invoice that are not tied to a specific product or catalog item.

Prerequisites

  • Staff account with billing edit permission
  • The invoice must be in DRAFT status

Steps

  1. Open the draft invoice from the Billing section.
  2. Click Add Charge (or Add Miscellaneous Charge).
  3. Enter the required fields:
    • Description — what the charge is for (e.g., “Late cancellation fee”, “Express processing”)
    • Amount — the charge amount
  4. Click Save to add the charge to the invoice.

Notes

  • Miscellaneous charges are for one-off amounts not tied to a specific product or service in the catalog.
  • Charges can be edited or removed while the invoice is in DRAFT status.
  • The invoice subtotal, tax, and total are automatically recalculated when charges are added, edited, or removed.
  • Once the invoice is FINALIZED, no further edits are possible.
  • All changes are recorded in the AuditLog.
