Reassign a Patient to Another Staff

Transfer a patient’s session assignment to a different staff member within your clinic.

Prerequisites

  • You are a ClinicAdmin or a staff member with reassignment permission.
  • The target staff member is active and belongs to the same clinic.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the patient’s session that needs reassignment.
  2. Click Reassign (found in the session actions or assignment section).
  3. Select the new staff member from the list:
    • Only active staff members in the same clinic are shown.
  4. Confirm the reassignment.

Notes

  • Only the assignedTo field changes — the original attribution (who created the session, who captured images) remains unchanged.
  • The reassignment does not affect the session’s content, status, or any generated documents.
  • The new staff member will see the session in their workload immediately after reassignment.
  • Reassignment is recorded in the audit log.
