Reassign a Patient to Another Staff
Transfer a patient’s session assignment to a different staff member within your clinic.
Prerequisites
- You are a ClinicAdmin or a staff member with reassignment permission.
- The target staff member is active and belongs to the same clinic.
Steps
- Navigate to the patient’s session that needs reassignment.
- Click Reassign (found in the session actions or assignment section).
- Select the new staff member from the list:
- Only active staff members in the same clinic are shown.
- Confirm the reassignment.
Notes
- Only the assignedTo field changes — the original attribution (who created the session, who captured images) remains unchanged.
- The reassignment does not affect the session’s content, status, or any generated documents.
- The new staff member will see the session in their workload immediately after reassignment.
- Reassignment is recorded in the audit log.
